Had a great stay, very friendly staff parking permit was given for the week which was a greatly received, five minute walk to the beach and sea front, breakfast was very nice and was always asked if we needed anything else. Room was clean and tidy and the little extra,s water tea was replenished every day.
Great location close to town and sea front. Owners and staff very helpful Breakfast is lovely with great choices Sets you up for the day. Stayed in double room with private bath room very comfortable and quiet. Thanks for a great stay will be back to be spoilt again.

The staff provided excellent service and were very accommodating. The premises were immaculate, and the food was of exceptional quality with a wide variety of choices. I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment for your vacation. It is conveniently located a mere two-minute walk from Pleasure Beach, an eight-minute walk from Sainsbury's, and five minutes from the high street. I would certainly choose to stay here again should I have the opportunity to revisit Great Yarmouth.

Lovely stay with my parents. I stayed at Shrewsbury Guest House in Great Yarmouth for a week with my elderly mum and dad, and we couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and comfortable place. The host (a lovely lady) was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. She really made us feel at home, and her kindness towards my parents didn’t go unnoticed — it meant a lot to us. The rooms were very clean and cozy, with everything we needed. Each morning we were treated to a delicious full English breakfast with lovely coffee, which set us up perfectly for the day. The location is ideal — close to the seafront and town, but still peaceful. It was easy for us to get around, and we enjoyed walks along the beach and visiting local sights. It was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I’d happily recommend Shrewsbury Guest House to anyone looking for a warm, family-friendly place to stay in Great Yarmouth. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again!
One of the best locations we have stayed in. Main beach is three minute walk. Area is quiet and very clean. The guesthouse provides free parking for the duration of stay that can be used to park in streets nearby, at the beach and around town. Room was very clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and keen to make sure that you get what you require, swiftly. Full English breakfast is provided at your chosen time. Quality of the breakfast is first class. Staff serves very efficiently and to your choice so that it feels like home away from home. Rooms are refreshed daily at your request so you are never disturbed. Room and bathroom have good quality products and necessary toiletries, so you will not miss if you have forgotten anything. The best part is that the hosts are very friendly and treat you as family members. They are very dedicated in what they do and you can always feel that their enthusiasm is really and genuine. At the time of departure we felt that we were saying goodbye to our family members. Without any hesitation we will return here every time in the future. I cannot but recommend this place whole heartedly. It will not be a chance but a certainty that you will enjoy your stay.
We stayed her for 3nights and the hospitality was 5stars! I travelled with a baby and a young child, the hosts made us feel very welcome from the start right until the end, the breakfast was very enjoyable. This is definitely a guest house we will be booking with again, the beach is a short walk away and so is the town, the room that we stayed in was clean and very spacious with a fridge which really helped, the beds were also super comfortable,
